FML

FML was the first aircraft WASSI purchased back in 2018, and which we have recently named Manurewa, which translates to soaring bird and was the name of the Walsh Brother’s first aircraft.

FML had for many years belonged to Padre John Neal and his wife Pam, who were long time members of the Marlborough Aeroclub and  generous supporters of youth in aviation.  Consequently, we chose to maintain the registration to honour them and to keep the aircraft yellow, albeit in the new WASSI paint scheme.
