MUM's progress - October 2020

Our C152 Aerobat restoration is making steady progress. The airframe and propellor of ZK-MUM was purchased in July last year.

Jay McIntyre of JEM Aviation at Omaka (Blenheim) has made great progress on the airframe, wings and empennage. Most of the SIDs have been completed and she is approaching ready to have the primer coat applied.

Jay thinks that the next step will be to remove and refurbish the instruments. Obviously a long way to go, but real progress.

We have placed a deposit on a new engine and have applications underway for funding for the remaining money for the engine.
