WASSI by its very nature exists due to the generosity of individuals, and other business entities.
Many members contribute regularly to keep the on-going maintenance and running costs of the fleet in hand, but it is the significant support of major sponsors that allow us to progress the dream of expanding the fleet.

The Lion Foundation
The Lion Foundation has been a significant sponsor of WASSI from near the beginning of our journey.
Their support allowed WASSI to obtain the first aircraft in the fleet (ZK-FML), and additionally were a major contributor to the engine for ZK-MUM

Pub Charity Limited provided significant funding that allowed WASSI to complete the purchase of the replacement engine for ZK-MUM.

Air New Zealand
Air New Zealand, and specifically Captain David Morgan, have been long supporters of the Walsh Flying School, and this support has carried over to assist WASSI with its goals.
Specifically Air New Zealand were instrumental in freighting engine cases to Lycoming in the US, and the subsequent return of factory rebuilt engines to refurbish the growing fleet.
